What we check
- Lighthouse scores — Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO — pulled live from Google's PageSpeed API (free tier)
- Core Web Vitals — LCP, FID, CLS from Chrome UX Report real-user data (not synthetic)
- Technical SEO — robots.txt, sitemap.xml, meta tags, heading structure, canonical tags, hreflang, structured data, image alt text, broken links
- On-page content — word count, H1/H2 structure, keyword density, readability score
- Backlink profile — domain rating, spam score, top referring domains
- Competitor discovery — top 10 domains ranking for the same keywords
- Custom crawler — up to 150 pages (plan limit), respects robots.txt, optional JS rendering
- AI content rewrites — paste-ready title tag, meta description, H1, and FAQ suggestions per page
How to run an audit
- /audits → New audit
- Paste any URL
- Pick audit depth (Fast = 20 pages, Full = 150 pages)
- Click Start
The audit runs in the background. You'll get an in-app notification + transactional email when it finishes (unless you've disabled those in Settings).
Reading the results
- Overall score (A-F grade) — weighted average of all categories
- Category breakdown — Performance, Accessibility, SEO, Content, Links, Technical
- Top issues — ranked by severity, click through to page-level details
- Per-page view — every crawled URL with its own scores and fix suggestions
- Export PDF — white-labeled with your workspace logo for client reports
Scheduled re-audits
Turn on "Re-audit weekly" on any project and we automatically re-run the audit every 7 days and email you a diff report showing what changed. Great for monitoring client sites between meetings.
