Managing your billing

Subscription dashboard, credit usage, invoices, Stripe portal, and cancellation.

The Billing page (left sidebar → Billing) is your single view for subscription status, credit usage, and payment history.

The billing dashboard

When you open Billing you'll see three live counters at the top:

  • Plan — your current plan name and monthly price
  • Credits remaining — how many credits you have left this billing cycle
  • Renews on — the exact date your plan renews and credits reset

Below that is a usage bar showing credits used vs total for the current period.

Understanding credits

Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets on your renewal date. Credits are consumed by:

ActionCredits used
Lead found in a search job1 credit
AI enrichment (icebreaker + email copy + insight)1 credit per lead enriched
Pitch Pack generation (WhatsApp / Quick Wins / Video Script)Cached after first use — no additional credits
Pro Database email lookup1 credit per verified email found

Credits do not roll over to the next month. If you run out mid-cycle, buy a credit top-up pack or upgrade your plan.

A low-credit notification fires automatically in your bell icon when you drop below 20% of your monthly allowance.

Upgrading your plan
  1. Open Billing → scroll to the plan cards
  2. Click Upgrade on the plan you want
  3. You're taken to Stripe Checkout — enter your card details there
  4. Payment succeeds → your plan upgrades instantly and credits reset to the new plan's allowance

Upgrades are pro-rated: if you're 10 days into a 30-day cycle and upgrade from Starter to Growth, you pay only 20/30ths of the price difference for the remainder of the cycle.

Downgrading your plan
  1. Open Billing → click Switch plan or contact support
  2. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep all current features until renewal
Managing payment details

Click Manage subscription (opens the Stripe Customer Portal). From the portal you can:

  • Update your card
  • Download invoices as PDFs
  • View full payment history
  • Cancel your subscription
Invoices

All invoices are generated by Stripe and available in the Customer Portal. You can also view recent invoices at Billing → Invoices in the dashboard. Each invoice shows:

  • Date and billing period
  • Plan and amount charged
  • Credit card last 4 digits
  • PDF download link
Credit transaction history

The bottom of the Billing page shows your last 10 credit transactions. Each row shows:

  • What consumed the credits (e.g. lead_found, ai_enrichment, topup_pack_500)
  • How many credits were added (+) or consumed (-)
  • Date and time

This is useful for auditing usage — e.g. seeing which job consumed the most credits.

Cancelling your subscription
  1. Open BillingManage subscription → opens Stripe portal
  2. In the portal, choose Cancel plan
  3. Your plan cancels at the end of the current billing period
  4. You stay on your current plan until renewal, then drop to Free

Your data is preserved for 90 days after cancellation. You can reactivate at any time.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries failed payments automatically (day 1, day 3, day 7). You'll receive an email from Stripe each time. If payment fails after all retries your account downgrades to Free — upgrade again once your card is fixed to restore access.

Common questions

My credits reset but they show wrong. Credits reset exactly when your Stripe invoice is paid (usually within seconds of renewal). If there's a delay, refresh the page — the webhook updates your balance as soon as Stripe confirms.

Can I share my subscription across multiple workspaces? Each workspace has its own subscription. Credits don't transfer between workspaces.

I upgraded but my plan still shows Free. Wait 30 seconds and hard-refresh. If it still shows Free, open a support ticket — Stripe webhooks occasionally have brief delays.
